Software for small businesses, kept in your own office.

Harbor Desk Systems makes Relay, Spoolhouse and DataLens. Each one installs on a computer you own, so your customers’ records stay with you, not with us.

What we make

Three products for three kinds of business. Each one does a specific job well and keeps its data on your hardware.

  1. Relay

Insurance agencies, contractors, fabricators and other service businesses that quote work.

Lead follow-up for small businesses that quote work, running on a computer in their own office.

    • Every quote gets one follow-up the same evening
    • Sends from your own Outlook or Gmail
    • Opt-outs are permanent and checked first
  2. Spoolhouse

3D-print shops selling on Shopify, TikTok Shop and Etsy.

Inventory, reorder and print-farm software for 3D-print shops that sell on Shopify, TikTok Shop and Etsy and print on Bambu Lab printers.

    • One stock count, kept right on three marketplaces
    • Make and buy lists from a seasonal forecast
    • Drives Bambu Lab printers on the shop’s network
  3. DataLens

Distributors and safety and compliance teams who manage large product catalogs.

Product-catalog checks for distributors, run on your own hardware: data quality, safety documents and compliance.

    • Quality, safety and compliance checks on one upload
    • Every flag shows the rule or keyword behind it
    • AI runs on your server, not in the cloud

Who builds it

Harbor Desk Systems LLC is run by Jake Young, a software developer since 2019 who has spent most of his career building .NET applications, with some C++ along the way. A lot of his friends run small businesses, and Harbor Desk started as a way to help them: focused software that does one job well and keeps the business’s records on its own computer.
